Branson’s Best Places to Call Home

Posted

Are you thinking of making Branson your permanent residence or regular weekend getaway? For the past 15 years, I’ve been helping people just like you find their way home and I know where all of the best spots are here in the Tri-lakes area.

  • Saddlebrooke Village – Are you a big fan of nature but also want the comfort of community with lots of amenities? If so, Saddlebrooke is for you! This area located right off of Highway 65 between Springfield and Branson, Missouri allows residents a quick commute to either location. It is a beautiful neighborhood encompassing 4,500 acres complete with pools, trails, picnic tables, tennis courts and basketball courts. The Mark Twain National Forest and Busiek State Forest with all of their varied wildlife are right next door to this community allowing residents to see amazing star-filled nights and enjoy the sounds of nature all around them. If you have a young family or are a recent retiree, this is a wonderful location for your next home.
  • Table Rock Lake – If you like golf, boating and just relaxing by the lake this is the perfect place for you! Table Rock Lake’s shoreline is protected from expansive development, so no matter where you are on the lake, you’re surrounded by nature. Quiet hideaways all over the lake make it easy to throw out your anchor, swim or pull over for a picnic. Wildlife is abundant, so you can see bald eagles daily. There are also loads of things to do when you are not on the lake. If you are a runner, walker or biker, there are multiple picturesque trails surrounding the area. Top of the Rock, a property developed by Bass Pro Shop’s founder Johnny Morris, has restaurants that offer some of the finest dining in Missouri and the golf course here is also one of the most amazing golf experiences in the country.
  • Lake Taneycomo and Bull Shoals Lake – If you love fishing, this is the place for you as Lake Taneycomo has some of the best Rainbow and Brown Trout fishing in the state. In fact, fishing close to the dam is a favorite spot among locals and visitors. You’ll also find tons to do with the family in this area. The Branson Landing Fountain Show is a must see and there are plenty of great places to eat nearby. Rent a boat at the Bull Shoals marina and catch some sun on one of the many public beaches or hit the links on one of the impressive golf courses in the Branson area. The majority of the shore is private lake property so if you want to fish all year-round this is the perfect place to build or buy your lake home.
